Heres an idea for a sticker campaign I’d like to put up. The idea is to get people to start reading again, because I know EVERYONE used to read when they were a child.

I sketched the art out then redrew it in Adobe Illustrator.

Miami natives and Hip Hop violinists Black Violin are something special down here. Every time I see them, I’m blown away. For these guys to take a very classical instrument and create amazing Hip Hop tracks with it is basically unheard of. A typical Black Violin audience is made up of a very diverse crowd (Once I saw them at a club and people had brought their kids along to see the guys).  Recently Black Violin got to play for the troops in Iraq & Kuwait.

While the computer animation in this music video might be a lil weak, Big Boi & Janelle Monae don’t disappoint on their team up. “Be Still” is off Big Boi’s recent solo album Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty. Janelle Monae is def a very talented individual as well as strangely beautiful. Big Boi helped produce her recent album, Archandroid.

PS Can we please get a new Outkast album?

The Foreign Exchange’s video for “The Last Fall” takes such a different route then I was expecting. The video is insanely dark, but still an amazing story unfolds like we have come to expect from The Foreign Exchange music videos. If you haven’t checked their newest album, Authenticity, I highly recommend you do. Phonte’s smooth R&B flow is beautiful and Nicolay’s beats never disappoint.

Producer Skream teams up with Example to bring you a massive dubstep banger. The video was shot on the streets of Brighton, England. Cat messed up didn’t he? I would have loved to get those two CDs and spaghetti! Haha.

Although the words are sad you can’t help but dance! Aloe Blacc shows off his dancing skills along with a little buddy in his new video for Loving You Is Killing Me. If you haven’t picked up Aloe Blacc’s album, Good Things, yet, you need to get on it.

R&B singer Jamie Woon hails from London and is the son of Celtic singer Mae McKenna. Jamie’s sound is very soulful and usually backed up by ill samples and programing. His debut album, Mirrorwriting, should be out very soon.

Recently I had a chance to visit Forsyth Park in Savannah GA. It was a beautiful day so the park was filled with people. Everyone was just enjoying the vibe the park life gives you. I quickly realized we are lacking parks like this in South Florida. I’m not talking about little parks with playgrounds for the kiddies. I’m talking about huge parks with walking paths, giant trees, statues, fountains, the whole 9 yards. I’ve traveled all over and walked through parks in London, Philadelphia, Sydney, and how could I forget the amazing Central Park of New York City. Do the people in South Florida not crave a beautiful outdoor world like me, or is the beach all the beauty we are given?

PS We have Gods gift the Everglades, and I love that place, but I’m just talking about a place to enjoy Park Life with other human beings.
