No Luck For Jamie Woon

R&B singer Jamie Woon hails from London and is the son of Celtic singer Mae McKenna. Jamie’s sound is very soulful and usually backed up by ill samples and programing. His debut album, Mirrorwriting, should be out very soon.

Park Life

Green Saint Patricks Day Fountain

Recently I had a chance to visit Forsyth Park in Savannah GA. It was a beautiful day so the park was filled with people. Everyone was just enjoying the vibe the park life gives you. I quickly realized we are lacking parks like this in South Florida. I’m not talking about little parks with playgrounds for the kiddies. I’m talking about huge parks with walking paths, giant trees, statues, fountains, the whole 9 yards. I’ve traveled all over and walked through parks in London, Philadelphia, Sydney, and how could I forget the amazing Central Park of New York City. Do the people in South Florida not crave a beautiful outdoor world like me, or is the beach all the beauty we are given?

PS We have Gods gift the Everglades, and I love that place, but I’m just talking about a place to enjoy Park Life with other human beings.

Plan B Aint Moving, Netsky Will Make Him

Plan B may be a recluse at times but with this Netsky remix even he must be jumping all over the place. Netsky is basically a newbie in the Drum & Bass scene but hes already teamed up with some huge names on his records. Check out the Nero remix to Recluse if you have time.

Look What Maverick Sabre Did

The UK never lets me down when it comes to it’s musical talent. Maverick Sabre is an up-and-coming Soul singer from across the pond. His track Look What I’ve Done To You is off his Lost Words EP. Look for his full length album later this year.

Win or Lose We Still Got Malcolm & Martin

Lately I been jamming to this group I came across on UndergroundHipHop.com. Malcolm & Martin might not really be made up of two emcees called Malcolm & Martin but they’re def spitting the truth like the name implies. Backed by the legendary DJ Revolution, KB iMean and Stylistik Jones make up the group Malcolm & Martin. They’re debut album is entitled Life Doesn’t Frighten Me.

Gotta love that Rocky Sample at the end.

In the Studio with Ghostpoet & Kano

Two of Englands lyrical heavy weights recently teamed up to put together a massive remix. Ghostpoet & Kano were filmed in London’s Redbull Studio as they put together the Cash & Carry Me Home Remix. The track is about having a “bit” to much to drink and needing someone to carry you home haha.
